Where do I get my timer?
You can get your timer at packet pick-up or the morning of the race!
***IMPORTANT: You will be fined $10 if the timing chips are not returned at the end of the race! If you forget to return your chip or end up not being able to make it to the race, you can mail your chips back (the mailing address is on the chip).
Where do I pick up my race packet?
You will be able to pick up your packet before race day from the Hubbard Commons, located in the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU). Packet pickup will be Friday, April 12th from 4-8pm, Saturday, April 13th from 12-5pm, and on race day Sunday April 14th after 7:30am.
Can someone else pick-up my packet?
Yes! You can have a friend or family member pick up your packet.
Race Day Questions
What happens if it rains?
RiverRun will take place rain or shine! If there is thunder or lightening participants will be moved inside until we have the all clear from law enforcement or until we decide to cancel the race. Be prepared with rain gear and layers as it may be a bit chilly (when you are not running of course).
If the race is cancelled from rain will I be reimbursed?
Unfortunately, if the event is cancelled we will not be able to offer reimbursements.

Where can I park on race day?
Parking is available in the IMU N Madison St ramp at the standard rate. Visit https://transportation.uiowa.edu/content/standard-cashiered-rate for parking costs. Free parking is available in the Hancher Auditorium parking lot on the other side of the river.
